Centre For Integrated Urban Development (CIUD) has organized talk programme on " The Urban Predicament at Manohara River Bank" on 1st of July 2011 at Urban Dabali. This programme was based on the research conducted by Compassion for Migrant Children (CMC) with the joint effort of Samudayik Sarathi at manohara river bank.

A workshop on the topic "Open Space in Kathmandu valley" was conducted by CIUD in joint efforts with RECPHEC on 3rd of June at Hotel Orchid to discuss and focus on the important multidimensional issues of open spaces. The objectives behind it was to identify and discuss the importance of open space in Kathmandu Valley providing a common forum for people to share their opinion and to identify the collaborative effort in making Kathmandu a liveable city.

A talk programme on "The Importance of Tudhikhel" was conducted by CIUD in joint efforts with RECPHEC on 20th of May 2011, at Urban Dabali. The main objective behind the programme was to explore and disseminate the importance of open spaces in Kathmandu Valley particularly focusing on Tudhikhel.

As the previous programme for undergraduate at St. Xavier College was seemed to be in progress, another talk programme was organized on 10th of December 2010 at same venue and this time it was for the Post-graduate students where most of the participants were either house wives or job holders. They were more conscious this time to have kind of information about the box composting.
